Lesson - 55

About High Reward
It was narrated from Anas bin Malik (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial. When Allah loves a people He tests them. Whoever accepts that wins His pleasure but whoever is discontent with that earns His wrath.”
(Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 5, Book 36, Hadith 106)

About Supplications
Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar (RA): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) never failed to utter these supplications in the evening and in the morning: O Allah, I ask Thee for security in this world and in the Hereafter: O Allah! I ask Thee for forgiveness and security in my religion and my worldly affairs, in my family and my property; O Allah! conceal my fault or faults (according to Uthman's version), and keep me safe from the things which I fear; O Allah! guard me in front of me and behind me, on my right hand and on my left, and from above me: and I seek in Thy greatness from receiving unexpected harm from below me." Abu Dawud (RA) said: Waki' said: That is to say, swallowing by the earth.
(Sunan Abi Dawud, Book 43, Hadith 302)

About Good Faith
Narrated Anas (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever said "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a barley grain will be taken out of Hell. And whoever said: "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a wheat grain will be taken out of Hell. And whoever said, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of an atom will be taken out of Hell."
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 1, Book 2, Hadith 37)

About Safety
It was narrated from Salamah bin ‘Ubaidullah bin Mihsan Al-Ansari (RA) that his father said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: ‘Whoever among you wakes up physically healthy, feeling safe and secure within himself, with food for the day, it is as if he acquired the whole world.’”
(Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 37, Hadith 4280)

About Generosity
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) was the most generous of all the people, and he used to reach the peak in generosity in the month of Ramadan when Gabriel met him. Gabriel used to meet him every night of Ramadan to teach him the Qur'an. Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) was the most generous person, even more generous than the strong uncontrollable wind (in readiness and haste to do charitable deeds)
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 1, Book 1, Hadith 6)
