Lesson - 32

About Supplications
Abu Harairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Three supplications are accepted, there is no doubt in them (about them being accepted): The supplication of the oppressed, the supplication of the traveler, and the supplication of his father against his son."
(Jami` at-Tirmidhi, Book 27, Hadith 11)

About Hell and Paradise
Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "When the believers pass safely over (the bridge across) Hell, they will be stopped at a bridge in between Hell and Paradise where they will retaliate upon each other for the injustices done among them in the world, and when they get purified of all their sins, they will be admitted into Paradise. By Him in Whose Hands the life of Muhammad is everybody will recognize his dwelling in Paradise better than he recognizes his dwelling in this world."
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol3, Book 46, Hadith 1)

About Ayatul Qursi
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud: "Allah has not created in the heavens nor in the earth what is more magnificent than Ayat Al-Kursi." Sufyan said: "Because Ayat Al-Kursi is the Speech of Allah, and Allah's Speech is greater than Allah's creation of the heavens and the earth."
(Tirmidhi Vol. 5, Book 42, Hadith 2884)

About Death
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "None of you should wish for death. Either he is a doer of good, so perhaps he may do more good, or he is an evildoer but perhaps he will give up his evil ways."
(Sunan an-Nasa'I, Book 21, Hadith 1)

About the Hereafter
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) as saying: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, will take in His grip the Earth on the Day of Judgment and He would roll up the sky in His right hand and would say: I am the Lord; where are the sovereigns of the world?
(Muslim Book 39, Hadith 6703)

About Faith
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the people are safe, and the believer is the one from whom the people's lives and wealth are safe."
(Sunan an-Nasa'I, Book 47, Hadith 11)

About Marriage
It was narrated from Aishah that: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Marriage is part of my sunnah, and whoever does not follow my sunnah has nothing to do with me. Get married, for I will boast of your great numbers before the nations. Whoever has the means, let him get married, and whoever does not, then he should fast for it will diminish his desire.”
(Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 3, Book 9, Hadith 1846)

About Temptation
It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) stood up to deliver a sermon and one of the things that he said was: “This world is fresh and sweet, and Allah will make your successive generations therein, so look at what you do and beware of (the temptations of) this world and beware of (the temptations of) women.”
(Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 5, Book 36, Hadith 75)
